City Owned Property Along Lake <br /> The Committee would like to find out who owns access to this lake (privately <br /> owned driveway or city owned park road?) It was also discussed that having food <br /> trucks available during the water ski shows would be an asset. <br /> VII. OTHER ITEMS <br /> 1. Short/Long Term Planning(5 year plan for Park Improvement Projects) <br /> The Committee reviewed and modified this list by adding permanent roof cover <br /> and new LED lighting for ice rink in 2016. <br /> 2. Family Skate Nights at Laurie LaMotte Park <br /> The first Family Skate Night will be held on January 9, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to <br /> 9:00 p.m. If the weather is cold enough, then the making of ice needs to begin on <br /> the first of the month. There is a concern that the weather might not be cold <br /> enough in January to hold this skating event and that it may have to be canceled; <br /> if that is the case, then information will be distributed in the schools via the Friday <br /> Flash the day before the event stating "weather permitting". <br /> The second Family Skate Night and Hayride is scheduled for February 6, 2016 <br /> from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the hayride ending at 8:30 p.m. Both events will <br /> also include a bonfire,popcorn and hot cocoa. <br /> It was suggested that the popcorn maker & coffee urns should be pre-heated just <br /> prior to these events. <br /> VIII. ACTION ITEMS REVIEW— <br /> Items that have been completed will be removed; some are still open and additional items <br /> discussed at this meeting will be added.
