<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regular <br />meeting on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Chairperson Darrin Mosher <br /> Commissioner Russ Koski <br />Commissioner Matthew Montain <br />Commissioner Mark Haiden <br />Commissioner Nick Twohy <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />None <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chairperson <br />Mosher. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br />II. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br /> <br />III. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Proposed Parking Design – Centennial School District #12 (Centerville Elementary) <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson gave a brief update of meetings with two members of the School Board <br />(Chair & Vice Chair), Mayor Wilharber, Council Member Fehrenbacher, Business Manager Dan <br />Hoffman & Superintendent Dietz where the school shared their vision for enlargement of the <br />parking lot for student/staff safety. The City shared their vision of the Downtown Redevelopment <br />Plan and the need for parking in the downtown area for (festival, farmer’s market, public events, <br />etc.). <br /> <br />The Commission had lengthy discussion on the proposed parking design and the City’s Downtown <br />Master Plan. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />
