<br />scheduled municipal election. The format of delivering the compensation can <br />be changed at any time, provided it does not affect an increase in the amount <br />each councilmember is compensation. <br /> <br />Persolinel Policv. Moore-Sykes reported on outstanding issues associated the <br />recently adopted 2002 Personnel Policy. She reported that there are several <br />discrepancies that are putting the personnel policy in conflict with the current <br />union contract with the Public Works employees. <br /> <br />The Council directed Moore-Sykes to correct language regarding City <br />compensation of training and education; to correct overtime so that Staff are <br />paid overtime for hours worked over 40 hours, regardless if Staff is using <br />leave or holiday time off. <br /> <br />Council also directed Moore-Sykes to convert sick and vacation time to <br />personal time off. There was discussion about the conversion process. <br /> <br />Council Chambers Renovation. Council direCted Moore-Sykes to have Public <br />Works to get cost estimates for sheet rock to finish off the walls in the Council <br />Chambers that still cement block and paint for two walls. They discussed <br />moving the white board and add a strip with clips on it so that plans and maps <br />could be hung there as well and also to move the podium so that the camera <br />could pick up a speaker easier. <br /> <br />Ordinance Codificati~n. Moore-Sykes reported that the City Clerk had <br />. informed her that the League of Minnesota Cities contacted her about <br />completing the ordinance codification project that was initiated several years <br />ago. The City Clerk indicated that she will work with Duke Addicks to <br />determine the amount of money that remains on the contract with the League <br />and finish .the codification project. . <br /> <br />Other Business. <br />Chauncey Barrett Phase n. Council also discussed the need to move ahead <br />with Phase n of Chauncey Barrett senior housing. They directed Staff to send <br />a letter of interest in !his project to Anoka County. <br /> <br />Potentially Dangerous Dog. Councilmember Broussard indicated that she <br />would like .the Minnesota Statute' ~ definition of potentially dangerous dog. <br /> <br />m.
