Notify the electrical utility for connection or re-connection of all electrical <br />services installed, replaced, or repaired for which an electrical permit is <br />required. Contractors may call in for hook-ups on residential installations. <br /> <br />3. CITY'S OBLIGATIONS <br />3.1 General Descriptions. The City shall: <br />a. Receive and process electrical permits and fees in accordance its fee <br />schedule. <br /> <br />b. Forward the white copy of the permits to the Contractor, retain the pink <br />copy of the permit, and file the same in alpha/numerical order by address <br />until the completed white copy is returned with the report of; the completed <br />inspections and permits. <br /> <br />c. Receive and process orders for payment and fees collected for fee <br />shortages and extra or special inspections. <br /> <br />d. Adopt the most recent revision of the Minnesota Electrical Act including <br />M.S. 326.01. <br /> <br />e. Adopt Minnesota Rules Chapter 3800. <br /> <br />4. PAYMENT. <br /> <br />4.1 Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor 80% of the permit fees <br />collected for completed inspections. <br /> <br />4.2 Invoices. The Contractor shall, within fifteen (15) working days following the <br />last day of each calendar month in which the services were provided, submit an <br />invoice and request for payment on an invoice form acceptable to the City. <br /> <br />4.3 Time of Payment. The City shall make payments to the Contractor within thirty- <br />. five (35) days from the date of which the invoice was received. If the invoice is <br />incorrect, or otherwise improper, the City shall notify the Contractor within ten <br />(10) days of receiving the incorrect invoice. Upon receiving the corrected invoice <br />from the Contractor, the City will make payment within thirty-five (35) days. <br /> <br />4.4 :Vayment for Unauthorized Claims. The City may refuse to pay any claim, which <br />is.,not specifically authorized by the Contract. Payment of the 'claim shall not <br />preclude the City from questioning the propriety of the claim. The City reserves <br />the right to offset any overpayment or disallowance of claim by reducing future <br />payments. <br /> <br />5.
