<br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />Wednesday, March 2, 2016 ~ 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br />Centerville held a scheduled meeting on March 2, 2016 at the City Hall location. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Chairperson Jon Grahek <br />Vice Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> Council Member, Steve King <br />Public Works, Paul Palzer <br />Linda Neudecker, Recorder <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br />Committee Member Charles Reinhardt <br />City Administrator, Mike Ericson <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chairperson Grahek called the March 2, 2016 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:36p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. <br /> <br /> Roll Call – see above <br /> <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member Peterson <br />to add the following under Updates: #6. Safety Bases. All in favor. MOTION CARRIED. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES ~ Mr. Tom Lee - Music in the Park <br /> Ms. Kerri Kolstad – Fete des Lacs Runs <br /> <br /> Music in the Park – Mr. Tom Lee <br /> <br /> Mr. Lee provided the Committee Members with a roster of the bands scheduled for the <br />Music in the Park on Tuesdays from June 7 through July 26, 2016. The location will be <br />under the pavilion in Hidden Springs Park beginning at 6:30 p.m. No rain dates are <br />scheduled. <br /> <br /> There will not be a band on July 5 but there was discussion to schedule one additional <br /> <br />show on August 2and include it as part of the Fete des Lacs celebration, possibly in a <br />more central location. The following could be included as part of the festival: Tuesday, <br /> <br />
