May 11, 2016 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Paar provided an opportunity for Council Members to modify the minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King to approve <br />the May 11, 2016 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville May 12, 2016 through May 25, 2016 Claims (Check #30217- <br />30240) w/Voided Check #30239 & (Check #30241-30249) <br /> <br />2.Centennial Lakes Police Claims through May 19, 2016 (Check #10878-10907) <br /> <br />3.Centennial Fire District Claims through May 17, 2016 (Check #7456-7468) w/Check <br />#7452-7455 Payroll <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Paar provided an opportunity to Council Members for removal of any items of <br />concern. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to Approve <br />Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.None. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Review Met. Council Preliminary Population & Household Estimates April 1, 2015 <br />1. <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that the City recently received their annual preliminary population <br />and household estimate for April 1, 2015 from the Metropolitan Council. Administrator Ericson <br />stated that their estimates show a population of 4,005 and 1,345 households. He also stated that <br />Staff has found these numbers to be consistent and that they would become a part of the City’s <br />official numbers for additional reporting throughout the year. Information only item. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation to Solicit RFPs for <br />Comprehensive Plan Update <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that the Planning & Zoning Commission has been discussing the <br />Met. Council’s System Statement and has recommended to Council to solicit Requests for <br />Proposals (RFPs) for the City’s required Comprehensive Plan update.
