City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 13, 2016 <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that he and Administrator Ericson attended the RCWD meeting of July <br />7, 2016 regarding the proposal to drawdown Peltier Lake by approximately 3’ commencing in <br />September until April of 2017. He also stated that a log stop system would be installed to <br />prevent the drawdown of Centerville Lake, that RCWD reported that 38% of the pollution in the <br />lake comes from Clearwater Creek and 62% comes from surrounding homeowners and farms. <br />Mayor Wilharber reported that 75% of the lakeshore property owners must approve the draw <br />down. RCWD Staff stated that they will be aerating the lake and it is not anticipated that fish <br />will be affected. <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson stated that he anticipates that RCWD Lake & Stream Specialist Matt <br />Kocian will attend Council’s next meeting to provide a full report. <br /> <br />Motion Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to Adjourn the <br />Council Meeting of July 13, 2016 at 6:48 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. URBAN LAND INSTITUTE (ULI) WORK SESSION <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber, Council Members Paar, Fehrenbacher, King and Love; Planning & Zoning <br />Commission Members Matt Montain, Russ Koski and Mark Haiden; Mr. John Chirhart, <br />Gaughan Companies, Mr. Paul Burke and Mr. Rich DeFoe where also in attendance. <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon Hughes opened the Work Session by introducing himself and Ms. Cathy Bennett <br />from ULI. The panelists (Nick Andersen, Dominium, Brandon Champeau, United Properties, <br />Stacie Kvilvang, Ehlers, and John Shardlow, Stantec) also introduced themselves. ULI has <br />presented the City with a summary of the meeting.
