City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />August 8, 2016 <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Haiden, seconded by Commissioner Mosher to Recommend to <br />Council to “Opt Out” of the Temporary Family Health Care Dwellings Statute. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />2.Rollo’s Paving, LLC – 6867 – 20 Avenue South (CUP, Rezone/Comp. Plan <br />Amendment, Spot Zoning) <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Brass, Colliers was present to discuss with the Commission the intent of Rollo’s Paving <br />to purchase the former Reel Manufacturing building owned by Bob’s Auto Ranch. The property <br />is zoned B-1 (Commercial) and R-3 (High-Density, Multi-Family Residential. The owners were <br />not able to attend. Rollo’s Paving anticipated remodeling of the building, installing a sprinkler <br />system, paving the parking lot and connecting to municipal services. <br /> <br />Lengthy discussion took place regarding Conditional Use Permit versus rezoning of the property <br />along with the associated Comprehensive Plan Amendment. The Commission took no formal <br />action. <br /> <br />They agreed that the business would be a good fit for the area. <br /> <br />VI. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />1.June 7, 2016 Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />The Chair provided Commissioners with an opportunity to provide feedback regarding the <br />minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Koski seconded by Commissioner Montain to approve minutes <br />from the June 7, 2016 meeting as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Koski, seconded by Commissioner Twohy to adjourn the meeting <br />at 8:21 p.m. All in favor.
