Reschedule July P & R committee meeting <br />The committee members would like to evaluate all the parks for picnic tables at <br />the conclusion of the July meeting and issue a report for the August meeting. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee <br />Member Waeghe to reschedule the July Park & Rec meeting from <br />Wednesday, July 6 to Wednesday, July 13 due to the 4th of July holiday. All <br />in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Budget – P & R <br />Discussed the budget regarding funds available and funds that will be needed to <br />pay for upcoming projects. <br /> <br />VII. UPDATES/OTHER <br /> <br /> <br />1. Council Updates – Council Member Steve King <br /> <br />Mr. King informed the committee members that a Planning Institute is scheduled <br />in July by Urban Land Economic Development. <br /> <br /> <br />2.2016 Fete des Lacs ~ 5k/8k Runs Updates – Administrator Ericson <br /> <br />There are 10 runners currently registered. There was a suggestion that there could <br />be co-marketing of the 5k/8k Runs on August 6 and the Tour de Hugo Bike Ride <br />on September 24, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />3.2016 Fete des Lacs – Committee Updates – Administrator Ericson <br /> <br />Their most recent meeting was on May 30, 2016. They are still working on <br />obtaining additional sponsors for family events. <br /> <br /> <br />4.2016 Tour de Hugo Bike Ride – Updates <br /> <br /> <br />5.Other – <br />Discussed possibly having a city museum to promote the history of the <br />area. <br /> <br />VIII.
