Restore Natural Spring in Hidden Spring Park <br /> Mr. Palzer provided the committee the best and least expensive option utilizing <br />city water and electric pump with a timer. This item was tabled to the <br />September meeting & added to the 5 year Park Improvement Projects, with a <br />possible installation in Spring, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Playground Ladder Replacement in Acorn Creek Park <br />Mr. Palzer informed the committee that a playground ladder has been ordered <br />and will be installed upon delivery. <br /> <br /> <br /> Movie in the Park – Saturday, September 10th <br />4. <br /> <br />Committee Member Peterson provided an update for this activity. The movie <br />“Peanuts” has been ordered and Committee Member Peterson will be renting the <br />projector. Committee Member Waeghe will provide marketing which will <br />include a notice to be included in the weekly “Flash Friday” and a flyer for <br />various distribution as well as information on the City Hall sign. <br /> <br /> <br />5. Financials – from City & P &R for December, 2015 through July, 2016 <br />Committee again discussed what funds are currently available and funds that will <br />be needed to pay for upcoming P & R projects. Committee would like copies of <br />the 2015/2016 financials/budget that show when the $15,000, from 2015, was <br />carried over to the P & R budget from the City. To be requested from staff. <br /> <br /> <br />6. Gaga Ball Pit <br />The concept of the game was explained and that the pit is an octagon area with a <br />solid fence surrounding it. The costs could be kept down if only materials were <br />purchased and volunteers were utilized to build the pit. This item was tabled to <br />Spring, 2017 and will be added to the 5 year Park Improvements Projects. <br /> <br /> <br />7. Park & Recreation page on the City Website <br />The committee members would like to provide ideas regarding the content of the <br />P & R page, including a description of each park.
