<br />VII. UPDATES/OTHER <br /> <br /> <br />1. Council Updates – Council Member Steve King <br /> <br />Mr. King was not available as he was occupied by the City Council meeting which <br />was being held concurrently with the P & R meeting.. <br /> <br /> <br />2.2016 Music in the Park – <br /> <br />This weekly event was enjoyed by those in attendance. There were two rained out <br />evenings. In addition, it was recommended not to have music on the Night to <br />Unite (first Tuesday in August) as part of Music in the Park or Fete des Lacs, but <br />to possibly have “traveling music” on a trailer to visit various locations with the <br />police/fire departments and also utilize as an advertising medium for the Fete des <br />Lacs Celebration/runs. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3.2016 Fete des Lacs ~ 5k/8k Runs Updates – Ms Kerri Kolstad, Coordinator <br /> <br />Ms Kolstad provided a preliminary list of revenue, expenses and sponsors for this <br />event, along with additional ideas for the 2017 event. Upon approval of any <br />remaining expenses, a final financial report will be provided to the P & R <br />Committee members at the September meeting if ready. <br /> <br /> <br />4.2016 Fete des Lacs – Committee Updates – Administrator Ericson <br /> <br />Administrator Ericson was not available as he was occupied by the City Council <br />meeting which was being held concurrently with the P & R meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />5.2016 Tour de Hugo Bike Ride – Tabled <br /> <br /> <br />6.2016 Bike Minnesota - Tabled <br /> <br />VIII. ACTION ITEMS REVIEW <br /> <br />Items that have been completed will be removed; some are still open and additional items <br />discussed at this meeting will be added.
