Ordering Feasibility Study <br />2017 Street Improvement Project, Mill & Overlay <br />Whereas, it is proposed to improve Mound Trail (from Main Street to City Limits), the entirety <br />of Mound Court, the entirety of Gateway Circle and that portion of Beaver Pond Way (175 south <br />of Hunters Trail to and including the cul de sac of its termination). <br />Whereas, it is proposed to improve the above stated streets and to assess the benefited property <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, <br />Whereas, it is proposed to improve a trail that runs westerly through a portion of the Pheasant <br />Marsh Development to the mid-section of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park, a trail that runs <br />westerly through a portion of the Clearwater Creek development through Acorn Creek Park and <br />around the play structure within that park and from the Clearwater Meadows development to the <br />Eagle Pass development. The cost of these improvements will not be assessed to any Centerville <br />resident, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement, called the 2017 Street Project (Mill & Overlay) be referred to <br />City Engineer, Stantec for study and that Mark Statz is instructed to report to the Council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement <br />as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments <br />for affected parcels. <br />Adopted by the Council this 26th day of October, 2016. <br />� m : <br />,. <br />ayor <br />City Clerk <br />
