Ali in favor. Motion carried. <br />1. 2017 Thin Bituminous Overlay Project <br />a. Res #16-OXX — Ordering Feasibility Study <br />Engineer Statz stated that he provided Council with a handout which contained a new letter and <br />adjusted dates for the 2017 schedule. He stated that he felt that with the proposed bid opening in <br />the new year it would yield good results commencing the assessment process with benefiting <br />property owners. He also stated that a large portion of the project is 2/3rds of the older trails in <br />town (2008-2009). Discussion ensued regarding tree root intrusion and storm water runoff of <br />trails. Engineer Statz stated that summer help would be assisting with remedies for storm water <br />runoff with additional feathering, black dirt and sod. He also stated that assessment would not be <br />associated with the trail mill and overlays. <br />The Mayor requested the Engineer review the trail that runs north of Beaver Pond Way as rain <br />pools in that area for a length of time. <br />N w r, 1 a= B cā€ž 'w <br />111 Iā€ž I <br />Council Member King questioned whether consideration had been given to provide the City of <br />Lino Lakes with participation as two homes are situated on the Mound Trail cul de sac that <br />technically are Lino Lakes residents. Mayor Wilharber questioned whether it was acceptable <br />practice to approach those residents to determine if they desire to pay for their portion of the <br />assessments up front.
