PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />Wednesday, January 4, 2017 — 6:30 p.m. <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br />Centerville held a scheduled meeting on January 4, 2017 at the City Hall location. <br />Present: Chairperson Jon Grahek <br />Vice Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br />Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br />Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />..t <br />Also Present: Council Member, Steve King <br />City Administrator, Mike Ericson <br />Absent: Public Works, Paul Palzer <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Grahek called the January 4, 2017 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee to order at 6:33 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. <br />Roll Call — see above <br />II. SET AGENDA <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee <br />Member Waeghe approve this agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />III. APPEARANCES/APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br />None <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee <br />Member Waeghe to approve the December 7, 2016 P & R meeting minutes as <br />written. Allin favor. Motion carried. <br />V. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. Sledding Hill - Administrator Ericson <br />Mr. Ericson reported that the construction of the sledding hill has been completed. <br />It is located near the hockey rink so there will be adequate lighting while <br />sledding. At a future date, additional direct lighting may be installed closer to the <br />
