The estimated construction cost of the total project is $3,280,000. <br />The total estimated cost (construction + 8% construction engineering) to the City is <br />$680,000 (with deleting watermain and sanitary sewer work south of Dupre). <br />Upon award of the contract, the City shall pay to the County, upon written <br />demand by the County, thirty five percent (35%) of its portion of the cost of the project <br />estimated at $238,000. The City shall pay an additional sixty percent (60%) of its <br />portion of the cost of the project estimated at $408,000 by April 15, 2015. The City's <br />share of the cost of the project shall include only construction and construction <br />engineering expense and does not include engineering design and administrative <br />expenses incurred by the County. <br />Upon final completion of the project, the City's share of the construction cost will be <br />based upon actual construction costs. If necessary, adjustments to the initial ninety five <br />percent (95%) charged to the city will be made in the form of credit or additional charges to the <br />City's share. Also, the remaining five percent (5%) of the City's portion of the construction <br />costs shall be paid. <br />2. This Amendment is hereby made a part of and shall be amended to the <br />Agreement of the parties. <br />3. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement and Amendments <br />shall remain In full force and effect. <br />-2- <br />32 <br />
