City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 26, 2017 <br />Mayor Paar provided Council with an opportunity to make modifications. Council <br />Member Love stated that on page 2 on the third line under the valuation reduction, the <br />word increase should be decrease. <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Montain with the <br />changes on pate 5, to approve the April 12, 2017 City Council Meeting Minutes as <br />Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />VIII. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City of Centerville April 13, 2017 through April 26, 2017 Claims (Check <br />#30984-30996) & #30997 - 30999 <br />2. Centennial Lakes Police Claims through April 11, 2017 (Check #11387- <br />11403) <br />3. Centennial Fire District Claims through April 20, 2017 (Check #7828-7845) <br />W/Payroll Check #7828-7831 & check#7846 w/voided ck#7539 <br />4. Hiring of Temporary Seasonal Public Works Technicians — Mr. Jack <br />Drilling, Mr. Joe Drilling, Mr. Andrew Schweitzer and Mr. Dan Anderson <br />5. CenterPoint Energy Community Partnership Grant Application — <br />Centennial Fire District <br />Mayor Paar provided an opportunity for Council Members to add additional items or <br />remove items for further discussion. <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Koski to approve <br />the Consent Agenda as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IX. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Final Payment — Anoka County — Centerville Road Project <br />Administrator Ericson stated the City received the final pay request for the Centerville <br />Road Project in the amount of $56,837.14. He stated that the original invoice that was <br />issued by Anoka County Highway Department had the incorrect amount. The revised <br />invoice that was presented is the correct amount. Both Mr. Burmeister and Mr. Statz <br />agreed with that amount. <br />Council Member Montain stated he and other residents are concerned about the drainage <br />along Centerville Road. He stated that when it rains the water does not drain properly and <br />ends up creating a pond. There were questions/concerns with the contractor on whether or <br />not they were going to come back in the spring and finish the correct grading of the <br />drainage ditches. Administrator Ericson recommended that the pay request be held for <br />further discussion as Council Member King absent. He stated that Council Member King <br />also had questions/concerns on the final payment request of Centerville Road. Council <br />Member Montain stated that he has emails going back and forth from Anoka County in <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />
