August 17, 2017 <br />Mt 1880 %tarn Strut, CenteMIU, i N55038 <br />Wished 1557 651-429-3232"FaX651-429-8629 <br />MCMA Education and Outreach Committee <br />Ladies and Gentlemen: <br />The City of Centerville would like to take this opportunity to thank the Education and <br />Outreach Committee for awarding us the opportunity to utilize funds to employ Administrative <br />Intern, Mr. Charles Roberts from February to August of this year. <br />Mr. Roberts completed or assisted in various projects during his tenure. Several of these <br />projects had been identified through the City Council's 2017 Focus Goals. Mr. Roberts has <br />worked with all staff members of the City, outside consultants and advocacy agencies allowing <br />him to gain professional expertise, networking and greater experience with the inner workings of <br />municipal government. <br />Mr. Roberts was active in the re-creation of the City's Economic Development Authority <br />(EDA), the purchase and implementation of tablet computers for the City Council, Parks & <br />Recreation Committee and Planning & Zoning Commission. Importantly, he was integral with <br />establishing the Dupre Family legacy collection in anticipation of the soon to be created, <br />Centerville Historical Society. <br />24 <br />
