City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />July 11, 2017 <br />point this property would be developing and the roadway would be opened. Senior <br />Planner Carlson stated that Rice Creek Watershed along with the City's Engineer will <br />determine drainage needs, review the plan and ensure that the development drains <br />properly. <br />Motion by Commissioner Broussard Vickers, seconded by Chairperson Mosher to <br />Close the Public Hearing at 8:12 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESSS <br />None. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Recommendation to Council Regarding Peltier Estates Preliminary Plat, <br />Rezone & Comprehensive Plan Amendment — 7357 — 20th Avenue North <br />(Moore Property), 18 Acres <br />Commissioners continued a thorough discussion on a number of development issues. <br />Motion by Commissioner Broussard Vickers, seconded by Commissioner Grahek to <br />Recommend to Council Approval of the Rezone Request from R-1 to R2A and <br />Preliminary Plat with a Cul -de -Sac Only. Commissioner Johnson Opposed. Motion <br />carried. <br />2. Small Cell Deployment <br />City Administrator Ericson noted new legislation approved after one extensive lobbying <br />effort. He stated that more information would be received from the League of MN Cities. <br />Commissioner Grahek, a sergeant with the St. Paul Police Department explained in St. <br />Paul they need small repeaters on light poles to improve cellphone coverage. <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Commissioner Broussard Vickers, seconded by Commissioner Ganzel to Adiourn <br />the Regularly Scheduled Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting at 8:53 p.m. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br />Respectfully submitted, City Administrator Michael A.
