City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 12, 2017 <br /> <br />for holster cameras. He stated that the Governing Board approved the contracting of the Chief <br />for a longer period of time other than a year to year contract. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar stated that several individuals have contacted him regarding a proposed asphalt plant <br />in Columbus. He stated that the City of Centerville cannot stop development in other <br />communities but he has had discussions with Commissioner Sivarajah and Doug Fischer, Anoka <br />th <br />County Engineer, as this development would impact traffic on 20 Avenue. <br /> <br />Mayor Paar stated that the League of MN Cities recently recognized 32 Minnesota Lawmakers <br />as 2017 Legislators of Distinction with Senator Roger Chamberlain being one (1) of them. He <br />stated that Senator Chamberlain works very hard for the district and congratulated him on the <br />award. <br /> <br />XII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Montain seconded by Council Member Koski to Adjourn the <br />Regularly Scheduled Meeting of July 12, 2017 at 8:50 p.m. All in favor.
