City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> August 9,2017 <br /> participate in this training to gain an appreciation for an Officers need to be able to utilize <br /> judgement and think quickly. <br /> Mayor Paar reported that he received a request from a relative of previous Mayor and <br /> Council Member Fran Burque to recognize his contribution to the City and years of <br /> service by naming a street after him. Mayor Paar felt that the City needed to preserve its <br /> history and he would be bringing the item forward in the future if there was an <br /> opportunity. <br /> Council recessed their regularly scheduled meeting to a Closed Executive Session at 7:51 <br /> p.m. <br /> Council returned to their regularly scheduled meeting at 10:13 p.m. <br /> Motion by Mayor Paar, seconded by Council Member Koski to Amend the Agenda <br /> to Include Discussion on Financing the Position of City Intern as it is Funded <br /> Through August 18, 2017. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King to Adiourn <br /> the Regularly Scheduled Meeting of August 9, 2017 at 10:20 p.m. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Respectfully submitted by Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br />
