CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> July 26, 2017 <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br /> meeting of July 26, 2017 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member Russ Koski <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> Council Member Matt Montain A 1) 1) r ov e <br /> Council Member Steve King <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> STAFF: City Engineer Mark Statz <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> COUNCIL MEETING <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Paar called to order 6:30 p.m. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Mayor Paar added Check 431224-31231 and added Item 47, Successful Performance Review — <br /> Senior Account Clerk, Ms. Kris Sweeney (Completion of 17 years) under the Consent Agenda. <br /> Administrator Ericson requested that New Business be moved up prior to Old Business. <br /> III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> 1. CenterPoint Energy, Mr. Jeff Hagemann - Partnership Grant Award, Centennial <br /> Fire District <br /> Mr. Hagemann stated that the program has been operating since 2003, contributed $1.5 million <br /> dollars toward safety initiatives for local communities to fund safety-related equipment and <br /> projects. Mr. Hagemann also stated that assisting emergency officials aids them in keeping <br /> communities safe. Fire Chief Lundstrom accepted the grant funding and thanked CenterPoint <br /> Energy for their generosity along with Council. <br />
