Planning and Zoning Commission's Recommendation for Proposed Ordinance <br />#5, Secon9 S~ti~s - Accessory Structures <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that this Ordinance amendment will clarify various <br />requirements in the Code as well as require a permit to allow Staff to verify the location <br />of sheds to ensure that they are not located in easements. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked whether prefab storage sheds are addressed. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />11. aids for Backage Road/2I st Avenue <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson provided information on the bid tabulation for the project <br />noting the bid looked favorable at approximately the engineer's estimate with the <br />addition of the right turn lane. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that easements are needed for a portion of this <br />project and then recommended waiting until after June 16, 2006 which is the public <br />hearing date. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff will attempt to discuss the easements with <br />Sheehy. <br /> <br />Council 8.Qreed to wait to hear from Staff as to how the negotiations are nroceeding <br />.....,. . ... -.- ...-- -....-". -" 0- ~ ~v----_.- -------r---- -'------1;;;7- <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked the City Engineer to let the contractor know that the City is <br />comfortable with the bid but there are some outstanding issues to be worked out before <br />the contract is awarded. <br /> <br />12. Bonestroo Correspondence May 4. 2006 forwarded to Anoka County Regarding <br />Bridge 02104 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated this is for informational purposes and the large size <br />culverts are classified as a bridge and require an annual inspection. The State noticed the <br />damage to the bridge as a result of the 2004 street project when the contractor hooked the <br />culvert and tore a bole. The contractor did a repair on his own and the City feels like the <br />Engineer should have caught it and Bonestroo staff feels it is not a structural issue and <br />has been fOlWarded to the County for review. <br /> <br />Page 7 of 10 <br /> <br />1 <br />
