Public Involvement <br /> <br />. SRF highlighted the comments received from the October 26, 2004 Public ,Information <br />Meeting.. A copy of the Meeting Summluy and Summary of 'Public Comments were <br />previously diStributed by email ~ the Group on November 3, 2004. The MOOting Summary <br />and Slltnmluy of Public Comments will be posted on the project's website. The Group also <br />agreed that SRFshould proceed with developing a Freq~ently Asked Questions (FAQ) <br />, dOCUD)ent to be placed on the web page. . , , <br /> <br />. The Anoka County Highway Department Staff mentioned that they had received a message <br />from a,concerned resident at 1693 Lakeland Circle, Centerville involving surveyors walking <br />around on private property. SRF explained to the Oroup that they were completing a <br />wetland survey along the corridor and it was doubtful that survey extended to the property in <br />question. <br /> <br />. The County Staff mentioned that they had received a positive response for the project, <br />specifically the grouping of the boat/canoe launch and fishing pier relocation, during a <br />recent meeting with Anoka County Parks. <br /> <br />3. Layout Review <br /> <br />Segment 3 (20th Avenue to I-35E) <br /> <br />. Mn/DOT is continuing to look at the I-35E1CSAH 14 interchange reconfiguration. They are <br />looking at options to address concerns expressed by the County and the Cities ofLino Lakes <br />and CenterviHe related--to leeal aceess issues, ---reduGtion of the-"weave" configuration on <br />CSAH 14, and reduce the proposed right of way required. The County will pursue a <br />meeting with Mn/DOT to discuss the interchange concepts including ways to reduce the size <br />of the overall size of the interchange. <br /> <br />The, Anoka County Highway Department explained their intersection spacing requirements for <br />secondary and primary access along CSAH ,14 and CR 54/CSAH 21. The required. spacing <br />for secondary access points on CSAH 14 is 1/4 mile and the' prim.ary access on <br />eR5~t1s=-lf~='fhe'€v~t) U5LcOO toallew= ' , . t4=a.ud- <br />21st Avenue. The 3/4 intersection would allow left tumingtraffic from CSAH 14 to <br />21st Avenue and right in! right out turnS from 21st Avenue toCSAH 14. Left turns from <br />21st Avenue would be directed either to tJ:le south or north along future local street <br />connections. SRF presented several interchange alternatives that addressed access concerns <br />along the north and south properties ofCSAH 14, east ofCSAH 21. SRF Was directed to <br />develop a 3/4 intersection at CSAH 14 and 21st Avenue and show future location of local <br />streets and access to CR 54/CSAH 21. <br />
