The City ofLino Lakes indicated that a developer is working with the .City on an AUAR for
the vacant properties north ofCSAH 14. The extension of 21st Avenue to the north would
appear feasible with the conceptUal planning proposed by. the developer. However, the
eitenSioriof21st Averiue south ofCSAH 14 to a future east-west collector would be difficult
due to poor soils, multiple property owners and the location of Clearwater Creek. The
Group inquired about the possibility of showing the developer'.s conceptual plan on the
layouts for planning purposes. The City will investigate this issue with the developer.

. "In
addition to the layout, SRF will include photographs of eXisting 3/4 intersections in the
Metro Area.

. The Group discussed "access to CR 54 south ofCSAH 14. The County agreed to allow full
access to the businesses located in the SW comer of the intersection by shortening the
proposed median closure. However, a painted median would be provided, south of the
concrete median, as required to develop the turn lane and design speed taper. The County
noted: full access to this property is "temporary" pending further improvements to CR 54
which will include extension of the concrete median.

. The County requested SRF to include a future collector road on CR 54, 1/2 mile south of
CSAH 14.

.
