Adherence to these policies" is the responsibilitY of each <br />Employee. Overall 9dmini~tion of this policy is the responsibility of each <br />department . head. Violation of established policies and roles may result in <br />disciplitw:y action under the discipline Section of the City's personnel policy. <br /> <br />14.2 Safety/Accident Reporting <br /> <br />Forms: Worlrets' Compensation and OSHA laws require that Employees involved <br />in job-related accidents arid sicknesses file a First Report of Injuty as soon as <br />p<)SSible. H necessaty the Employee's department head may file the report on behalf <br />of the injured or sick Employee. The department head is 8Iso responsible for filing <br />an accident report with the City's Safety Officer. <br /> <br />15. SMOKING <br /> <br />15.1 General <br /> <br />Prohibited: In the interest of gQOd health, the City discourages Employees from <br />~o~. Smoking is pro!!!bited within all City b~. <br /> <br />Approved Areas: The City AdminiRttator will d~~lte specific outdoor "areas as <br />smoking areas. There will be no smoking in areas not d-ig11ated as smoking areas. <br />If smoking results in discomfort to others, smokers are required to stop smoking. <br />Smoking in non-approved areas may result in disciplinary action. <br /> <br />16. GRIEVANCES <br /> <br />16.1 Grievance Procedure <br /> <br />Procedure: The following grievance procedure shall be followed by all Employ~ <br />except those cover~ by the terms of a collective bargaining a.g:teement.
