<br />\'11 <br /> <br />., <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />Lynn & Associates <br /> <br />November 22, 2004 <br /> <br />Mr. Terry SWeeney, Mayor <br />City of Centervilte <br />1880 Main Street <br />Centerville, MN 55038 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor S\veeney and Council Members: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Proposal fOr Servlces_":" Staff Team Building and leadership Training <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />The City of Centerville has requested a proposal to help ensure that the City staff has the necessary training <br />and consulting help to ensure a smooth transition of leadership with the departure of the City Administrator. <br />With the. departure of the City Administrator, the staff is in a position to start with a neW slate and begin to <br />function together as a high petforming team to get the work of the city done effectively and efficiently. The <br />twalnterim Co-Administrators will need both direction and sUpport during this time of change. As <br />. consulting psychologists, Dr. James Lynn and Usa Lynn of Lynn & Associates are well equipped to assist <br />. the Co-Administrators with these issues and is already familiar with the City and the statr members. <br /> <br />GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: <br /> <br />The general goal of this proposal is to help. the Council and Staff Members of the City of Centervllle to <br />function as a high performing team during the next few months, focusing on Issues that matter during the <br />transition period. <br /> <br />SpecifIc objectives of this project Include: <br /> <br />> Work with the Co-Administrators during the transition period to establish a set of goals and objectives to <br />focus on during the next few months. A part of this work will Include developing and delivering specific <br />training on "l-eadership. and "Healthy Work EnvIronments". <br /> <br />> Assist in the facilitation of Staff Department Meetings twice a month during the transition period to <br />ensure that the work of the City is getting done, projects are prioritized, and the team continues to work <br />together effectively.
