<br />.. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />t <br /> <br />METHOD OF IMPLEMENTATION:. <br /> <br />Dr. James Lynn, and Usa Lynn, MS, LP, will perform the services in this proposal. The implementation <br />steps are as. follows. <br /> <br />1. Review this proposal, sign it, and send or fax a signed copy back to Lynn & Associates (Fax <br />. 952.474.3738).' . .' . . <br /> <br />. ". . . . <br />2. Lynn & Associates will begin this. assignment by meeting with City staff members the day after this <br />Agreement is formally approved by th8 Council (Wednesday - November 24th). At this meeting we will <br />go over the report we prepared for the Council and create a short term operations plan for how we wiD <br />work together during the interim time period until a new City Administrator is hired and on board. A <br />schedule of meetings will be developed at this November 24th meeting and communicated to the <br />Council and City Attorney. . <br /> <br />3 Once a month, Lynn & Associates will attend a Council meeting to keep Council members informed as <br />to the status of work being performed. <br /> <br />4. Lynn & Associates 'will meet with staff twice a month, on the day following Council fJlE)etings to review <br />Council actions, discuss other City issues and develop and deliver training in "Promoting Effective Work <br />Environments" and "Situational Leadership.. . . <br /> <br />5. Jim Lynn and Usa Lynn will meet monthly with the . Mayor to review findings and discuss future actions <br />and plans in terms of staff development and work progress. <br /> <br />BENEFITS OF THIS APPROACH: <br /> <br />The foUowing benefits should accrue as a result of this initiative. <br /> <br />> The Council will have an opportunity to define and share in the process of selecting broad goals for <br />the Staff to address. <br /> <br />> Staff will have a clearer-sense of their respective roles and responsibilities with feedback from-the <br />first Report and participation in Department Meetings professionally facilitated by Lynn & Associates. <br /> <br />> The training the staff receives will send a clear message that the Council values them and - is willing <br />to invest in their growth and development <br /> <br />> The City will be well managed and run during this transition period. <br /> <br />TIMEUNE AND FEES: <br /> <br />This work described in this proposal can begin immediately upon signing this Letter of Agreement The <br />investment for help in working with staff will include two half':'days a month to be on site and facilitating staff <br />. meetings, and another half-day a month for meeting with Council and preparing training materials. The <br />special local government rate of$125.00lhr will apply for both Jim Lynn and Usa Lynn. Invoices will be <br />sent at the end of each month for services delivered during that month.
