CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> REQUEST FOR <br /> COUNCIL ACTION entervi(Ce <br /> E77 <br /> Agenda Item# Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br /> Administration January 24, 2018 <br /> TITLE OF ISSUE: <br /> Ruffridge Johnson Conditional Use Permit <br /> BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br /> The proposed Ruffridge Johnson site development requires a Conditional User Permit(CUP)for the operation <br /> of a construction equipment sales, leasing, maintenance and repair business, in the B-1 zoning district. A public <br /> hearing was held at a Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, where the CUP was recommended to Council <br /> for approval along with a Findings of Fact. The City Council, subsequently, approved the CUP at its February <br /> 28, 2018 meeting. However the CUP contained a clause that made it null and void if the property sale was not <br /> closed within 10 days of June 1, 2017.
