Admimistrator/Englineer's Report <br /> IE' en-werviffe February 14, 2018 <br /> AC�T;t <br /> ,aw7a ------------------------------------------------------- <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> Administrator Continuing Education Plan <br /> I attended the City Engineers Association of Minnesota's (CEAM)annual conference <br /> (Jan 24-26). This conference satisfies the continuing education requirements for my <br /> professional engineering licensure. <br /> Social Media Presence <br /> A city Facebook page has been"published",but may not yet be live. We are working <br /> through some of the quirks and logistics of having a"business" account Fa book. Some <br /> of you may have noted that I have personally set up a Fa boob account,mostly for the <br /> purposes of lea 'ng about the platform. <br /> Staff took some time to send feedback to Apple and Google maps regarding erroneous <br /> roads, etc, around town. We found about a dozen problems, Also "claimed"city hall on <br /> Couple Maps, so that we can have direct control over the info listed(hours of operation, <br /> phone number, etc.). <br /> Council Chambers TV System Upgrade <br /> I of with an additional vendor to discuss the TV system upgrades and have a meeting <br /> set up with a third vendor. I was also able to to the new Blaine Council Chambers <br /> system to get a feel for some of the capabilities of systems.
