( Stantec <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE -2018 LOCAL WATER PLAN <br /> STORMWATER CHARGES <br /> 9.0 STORMWATER CHARGES <br /> The City of Centerville is currently implementing the following stormwater fees: <br /> Quarterly Stormwater Management Fee (Developed Property) <br /> Residential $9.30 per residential unit <br /> Commercial/Industrial $0.00267 per square foot of impervious, minimum $9.30 <br /> per unit <br /> Stormwater Area Charge (With Developer's Agreement) <br /> New Development $0.05739 per square foot of platted area <br /> Stormwater Area Charge (With Building Permit) <br /> Residential $350.00 per residential unit <br /> Commercial/Industrial $0.07 per square foot of building, parking, and other <br /> impervious surfaces <br /> State statutes require that the funds collected through the stormwater area charge program be <br /> used for specific, limited uses. Likewise, fees collected citywide through the quarterly <br /> stormwater utility charge are also designated for specific uses. Below is a summary of how <br /> these charges are to be designated. <br /> Quarterly Stormwater Management Fee <br /> • Regular maintenance of City storm sewer system. <br /> • Regular sediment removal from stormwater ponds. <br /> • Public Works equipment and expenses associated with the regular stormwater system <br /> maintenance program. <br /> • Funding of the Public Information and Education Program. <br /> 9.34 <br /> 86 <br />
