City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> January 10,2018 <br /> with several agencies to host the items once inventorying has been completed (i.e. Centerville <br /> Elementary, Wargo Nature Center, City Hall and Anoka County Historical Society). <br /> Discussion ensued regarding additional grant opportunities for display casings, volunteers, <br /> rotation of items, Centerville's "small-town" feel relating to the Comprehensive Plan, City Hall <br /> facelift, capital improvements, budgeted items and the need for preserving heritage. <br /> Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member King to Approve <br /> Donor Agreements, Dupre Family Artifacts as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 3. Professional Services Contract for Have Gloves Will Travel, LLC — Ms. Rose <br /> Kubiatowicz (Dupre Artifacts Grant) <br /> A requirement for the grant is that all items are cataloged in PastPerfect software and Ms. <br /> Kubiatowicz is familiar with the software, is knowledgeable in this area and comes highly <br /> recommended. <br /> Administrator Statz stated that with the donor agreements approved, it would be appropriate for <br /> the council to enter into a contract with Have Gloves Will Travel, to complete the work outlined <br /> in the grant. <br /> Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Love to Enter into a <br /> Contract for Professional Services with Have Gloves Will Travel, LLC — Ms. Rose <br /> Kubiatowicz to Catalogue the Dupre Family Artifacts as Presented. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 4. Final Payment— Centerville Road (CSAH 21) Reconstruction—Anoka County <br /> Administrator Statz passed out a breakdown of costs associated with the entire project which was <br /> requested by Council Member King. This information was previously presented to Council <br /> several months ago. He reviewed the handout with Council and stated that, per Council's desire, <br /> $10,000 was withheld from the final payment due to additional work needing completion <br /> (lowering a pipe at the entrance of 6709 Centerville Road). Anoka County agreed to complete <br /> the work prior to winter and staff has approved the work less final grading and seeding which <br /> would be completed in the spring. <br /> Council Member Montain stated that a true test of the lowering had not occurred prior to <br /> snowfall so he hopes that the correction is satisfactory. Council desired that a letter be <br /> forwarded with payment stating that the City anticipated the final grading and seeding to be <br /> completed in the spring. <br /> Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Love to Release Final <br /> Payment of $10,000 to Anoka County Highway Department for the Centerville Road <br /> (CSAH 21) Reconstruction Proiect with a Letter of Anticipation for Completion in the <br /> spring of 2018.
