City of Centerville Council Meeting Minutes February 28,2018 Parks & Recreation Committee Chairperson Kevin Amundsen felt that an emphasis should be on a Parks & Recreation web site with smart phone/ADA capabilities, community involvement, pronounced social media, funding. additional park amenities, partnerships with the school district and events were important. Parks & Recreation Committee Member Seeley concurred and wished to see inclusion of community heritage. Planning & Zoning Commission Chairperson Mosher felt that the presented 2018 Goals were important along with the newly updated Comprehensive Plan and future development. He expressed some concern with the need for a new logo. Consensus of Council was that the presented 2018 Goals and action plan were appropriate. If they had additional concerns or requests they would contact Administrator Statz. III. PUBLIC INPUT IV. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Paar stated that Checks #31682-31687 were added to Item#1., Consent Agenda. Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Love to approve the Agenda as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. V. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS 1. None. VI. PUBLIC HEARING 1. None. VII. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES 1. February 14, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes Mayor Paar provided Council with an opportunity for amendments. Council Member Montain requested that"does" be replaced with"dose" on page 5 paragraph three. Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the February 14, 2018 Council Meeting Minutes as Per Stated Above. All in favor. Motion carried. VI. CONSENT AGENDA 1.
