North Metro 4 <br />\ Cable <br />f <br />I Review of Town Meeting, 5 <br />I Communications Task Force <br />_ Trails in Centerville 6 <br />/- <br />I <br /> Business of the Month 8 <br /> Centerville History, A Look 9 <br /> Forward <br /> <br />, <br />..ol.- <br /> <br /> <br />Back: Uncia Broussard-VIckers, Dick TraYis <br />Front: Mary Capra, Mayor TIm Swedber& Marl Nelson <br /> <br />Centerville's new Mayor and City Council members have been putting in extra time <br />this month appearing at the City's various local committee/commission meetings as well <br />as meetings held in neighboring communities. <br />The Mayor is encouraging the committee's to establish their goals. improve their <br />communications with the Council and community and share any and all of their con- <br />cerns with the Council. <br />Council has expressed interest in forming an Ad-Hoc citizen advisory communica- <br />tions committee; hiring a firm to help develop a common vision for the downtown re- <br />development and undeveloped commercial area near 20th Avenue and Main Street; <br />youth programming; Infrastructure planning; sIcateboardlwheel park; and an improved I <br />3SE and 135W interchange. <br />The Mayor strongly encourages participation from the public at all meetings and <br />with more efficient communication in the planning stages. Centerville residents will be <br />informed about everything and invited to contribute their knowledge, skills and time <br />into making CentervilIe a better community. <br /> <br />
