Trails in Centerville
SubmJrted by Wape LeBIcmc
More than two years ago. the Minnesota Design Team
spawned a number of special interest groups. one of which
focused on trails. Numerous meetings with adjoining commu-
nities generated a long term trail plan (see illustration). In the
year 2000, Anob County Parks constructed a wonderful trail
south of Centerville Lake that also connects to laMotte Park
(H to I). The new development called Hunter's Crossing con-
structed a trail connecting LaMotte Park to Centerville Road
(I). A trail in Hugo will go to Duluth and the route J-B-A is a
plan to connect the Anob County Park to that Hugo traiL
(The trail in Anob County Park will connect to other trails
that lead toward Minneapolis and beyond.)
At L, Lino Lakes plans to construct a park with ball fields
so trails are also planned to connect to that. Wargo Nature
Center (beyond G) is another destination with a planned trail
connection. The theme of the plan is to provide loops where
possible and to provide pedestrian and bicycle routes for
CenterviJle residents to desired destinations. These trails
should provide Centerville residents added mobility, safety,
and enjoyable outdoor recreation.
If there are any questions about the plan, contact Center-
ville Park and Recreation through City Hall or Wayne LeBlanc
6S 1-426-0168 or via email towlcenterville@hil.com.

For fast, fair, friendly service contact....

A good person to know for your insurance needs

Auto · Fire Homeowners
Life · Trucks Renters · Crime
Commercial Condominiums
Boats · RV's Mobile Homes
Workers' Camp · Farm and Ranch
VelY competitive youthful rates

A wide choice of deductibles to fit your specific need and budget.
All policies can be combined in one monthly payment.

FARMERS
I. ~IN.
