Owing the Olympics, ~nselors are <br />dressing in their work uniform and preparing <br />to make their appearance for graduation. <br />Parents and families are invited back to <br />Safety Camp at 5:30 p.m. for the graduation <br />ceremony. The children are quite surprised <br />to find their counselor a police officer or <br />firefighter! Each child Is Introduced and <br />walks through a receiving line comprised of <br />Uno Lakes PoRce Chief Dave Pecchla. Cen- <br />tennial Lakes Police Chief Joel Heclcman.and <br />Centennial Lakes Are Chief Milo Bermea <br />Each child Is presented with a diploma. me- <br />dallion. a group photograph and a grab bag <br />, with safety products and Information. <br />The children and staff put in a long day <br />fun of fun. games and learning. Centennial <br />Lake Are Chief Bennett states that the fun- <br />filled day Is high in intensity. and filled with <br />lots of enthusiasm. A trernencIous amount of <br />work from many people goes into producing <br />'uch an event, but the results are well worth <br />. . the positive efforts that are applied. At the <br />end of the day. everyone is exhausted. <br />Word has it that some children fall asleep <br />on the way home! <br />Planning for the 200 I Safety Camp. <br />scheduled for Thursday.
