February 28, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Mayor Paar provided Council with an opportunity for amendments. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Koski to Approve the <br /> February 28, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes as Presented. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> VI. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 1. City of Centerville February 28, 2018 through March 14, 2018 Claims (Check- <br /> #31688-31714) & (Check#31715-31723) w/Voided Check#31667 <br /> 2. Centennial Lakes Police Claims through February 6, 2018 (Check#11861-11878) <br /> 3. Advertising for Seasonal Public Works Technicians <br /> Mayor Paar provided Council with an opportunity to discuss any item(s). <br /> Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to Approve the <br /> Consent Agenda as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> VI. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Centerville Lake Shoreline Stabilization, Trailside Park—Phase H <br /> Lead Project Coordinator Mr. Greg Burmeister addressed Council and stated that previously they <br /> approved submission of a Water Quality Grant Program Application for work to be completed <br /> along the shoreline of Trailside Park. He explained that at that time, staff contemplated <br /> enlarging the scope of the project to include additional shoreline south of Trailside Park nearing <br /> Goiffon Road as the same type of work was needed. He stated that the additional project was <br /> mentioned to the Anoka County Conservation District, RCWD and the contractor. Both Anoka <br /> County Conservation District and RCWD were in favor of the project and the contractor stated <br /> that he would honor his pricing for the additional work. Mr. Burmeister stated that Phase I was <br /> for 350' feet of shoreline with the City's cost portion being $5,605 and Phase II being 328' feet <br /> of shoreline with the City's cost portion being $11,560.
