All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> VII. UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 1. Trailside Park Improvements—Mr. Paul Palzer <br /> The shoreline restoration project is scheduled to begin on May 7 and is hoped to be <br /> completed by May 21, as the Bald Eagle Waterski Club begins practice for their <br /> upcoming shows. <br /> 2. Spring Clean-up Day <br /> Saturday, May 5 has been re-scheduled as the new date for the spring clean-up day. <br /> Everyone is to meet at 9:00 am at the City Hall. Action Item - Will request that Ms. <br /> Bender send notification as previously for the April date. <br /> 3. Music in the Park—NONE <br /> 4. Fete des Lacs— 5/8K Runs & Paddle des Lacs <br /> a. 5/8K Run -Mr. Branch provided an update of the following items: <br /> • Run Start Times -The runs would start at 7:30 am rather than at <br /> 8:00 am to reduce conflict with the softball tournaments. <br /> • Timing System - His preference for the timing system is to use <br /> RACEWIRE self- timing software at a cost of $99.00, which is <br /> substantially less expensive than using a professional timer.
