We are targeting the month of <br />Apill Please refrain from par1d1\g on the streets during <br />the days as much as possible during this time. YOUR <br />COOPERATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATEDI <br /> <br />BOULEVARD REPAIR <br /> <br />The Public Works Department will be c:01'ldnm.. a <br />survey ofboulevard damage by the snow plow. Repairs <br />wiD hopefully be ~eted by the end of May. <br /> <br /> <br />b <br /> <br />ROAD RESTRICTIONS <br /> <br />We are approachiDg that time of year, when road <br />restric:ti.ons become a part of life for approximately 6-8 <br />weeks. If you are remodeling or having driveway <br />rec:cmstraction done during this time period, the <br />contractor(s) are Rquired to obtain an -Over Weight <br />Permit- from City Hall. Council approwl is required for <br />all over weight permits. Call City Hall at 429-3232. <br />Please keep in miDd that all road IeStrictioDs are set bv <br />the c:ounty. <br /> <br />WATER MAINS TO BE FLUSHED <br /> <br /> <br />The Water Department wiD be tlusbiDg the water" <br />May 13-17. You might experienc:e low water pressure or <br />discoloration of water. Please remember this is only <br />momentary and your reliable water service wiD be <br />restored as soon as possible. If you choose to wash <br />clothes during this period of ~1ri1tg. rentember to check <br />your washer at every fill cycle for "brown- water and <br />discontinue the cycle until clear again: NOTE: Washing <br />your clothes during this time may stain them. . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BUILDING PERMITS ARE REQUIRED" <br /> <br />A building or SlI'ucture may not tJe erected.-c:cmstructed, <br />eDIarged, a1tered. repaired, moved, improved, removed, <br />converted or demolished unless a building permit has <br />been obtained from the Building 1Dspector. Stmctures <br />under 120 square feet in area do not required a bui1ding <br />permit, however, set backs and easeroeJ\ts need to be <br />taken into CODSidemtion. Fena:s not over six feet do not <br />require a building permit but please be aware of any <br />drainage ~ts affected by the placement offences <br />or any other objects. To be sure of the placement of the <br />fence for ease'1ICftt purposes call or stop by city hall to <br />look at the ordillA~ and maps. If the draiDage <br />easement requirec1 attention, any obstacles within the <br />easement will be removed at the ploperty owners <br />expense.
