<br />Centennial School District to ilplelent a Progral <br />Coordinator to organize, ilplelent and oversee a <br />recreation progral. A copy of the Agreelent is on file <br />at City Hall. <br />Rorth Metro Recreation COllission - The City of Centerville <br />is seeking a person to serve as Centerville's <br />representative on the North Metro Recreation <br />COllission. The COllission will oversee the hiring and <br />elPloYlent of the progral coordinator and the <br />recreation progral (budgeting, prograls, scheduling, <br />facilities, etc.). Persons interested in this position <br />are requested to sublit a letter of interest to City <br />Hall no later than Kay 30, 1991. <br />Hater Tower Park - The Park and Recreation COllittee appear <br />to be concentrating efforts toward the developlent of <br />Water Tower Park. They have a site plan, have surveyed <br />and regraded the park and are in process of planning <br />and ilplelenting the planting of trees, shrubs and <br />grass. <br />Central Park - The schedule for ballfield use is now being <br />lade. If your organization would like to be on this <br />schedule, please contact Steve Dixon at 429-2612. <br />Anota County Park - Take advantage of the swilling beach in <br />the Anoka County Park this SUller. The beach is on the <br />west side of Centerville Lake. <br /> <br />CKRTKRVILLK LIORS CLUB - The Centerville Lions Club'is seeking <br />new lelbers. The signs will <br />replace lany deteriorated and faded signs. The new signs will be <br />of a green reflectorized laterial. Approxilately one half of the <br />City intersections will receive new signs in 1991. The second <br />half are scheduled to receive new signs in 1992. Your <br />dedication toward cO~lunity service is outstanding! <br /> <br />CERTERVILLE SCHOOL BEAUTIfICATION PROJECT - Centerville School is <br />sprucing up, brightening up a little corner of our City! the <br />front of the school is greening up with trees, shrubs, bulbs, <br />perennials and annuals. He will have Kaster <br />Gardeners frol Anoka County and the City forester on hand to help <br />on Saturday, Kay 11th - 9:00 a.l. We are accepting donations of <br />perennials for the gardens.
