<br />VanBurkleo to investigate resident concerns regarding <br />the operation of snowlobiles in Centerville. The <br />COllittee addressed a Snowlobile Ordinance, which was <br />adopted by the City Council on April 24, 1991. The <br />CO'littee continues to research possible alternative <br />snowlobile routes throughout the City. Thank you. <br />GalblinR - The City Council adopted an Ordinance which <br />regulates Galbling operations within the City of <br />Centerville. The ordinance requires that 50% of the <br />net profits of pull tab operations within the City, be <br />spent within the City of Centerville. <br /> <br />ORDIHAHCK RKSTRICTIOMS - Landscaping on new lots - Within one <br />year of issuance of the Occupancy Permit, the lot shall <br />be landscaped in such a lanner which prevents erosion <br />due to wind or vater. <br />~ - It is unlawful for any person under the age of 18 <br />to be on any public street, avenue or alley, or present <br />in any park or other public place in the City of <br />Centerville between the hours of 9:30 p.l. and 5:00 <br />a.I., unless accolpanied by his or her parent, <br />guardian, or other person having legal custody. <br />~- Ho permit is required to put a fence within a <br />Residential District, however, the fence lust be within <br />the property boundaries (not within the street right- <br />of-way/boulevard). Ho fence, wall or hedge along the <br />sides or front edge of any front yard shall be lore <br />than four feet in height. <br />BuildinR Perl its - Perlits are required for decks, garages, <br />storage shed (over 120 sq. ft.), additions and interior <br />relodeling or finishing. Perlits are available at City <br />Hall. The violation for not obtaining a permit prior <br />to construction is a double perlit fee, per 1985 <br />Minnesota State Building Code. If you have any direct <br />questions for the Building Inspector, Gunnar Pettersen, <br />call 636-5555. <br />Other Perlits - Perlits are also required for plulbing, <br />heating, and air conditioning additions or alterations. <br />House RUlber8 - All buildings are required to display <br />building numbers at least 4 inches in height, in <br /> <br />contrasting color to the base, and so placed to be <br />easily seen frot the street. One of the purposes of <br />the ordinance is to facilitate quick arrival of <br />elergency vehicles to you and your neighbors. <br />~ - Dog licenses are required by Ordinance #24.* The <br />cost of the license is $10.00 and is in effect for <br />the life of the dog. <br />- If you have lore tban two dogs over six lontbs old, <br />you are required to obtain a kennel license. <br />-City Ordinance requires that all dogs be restrained by <br />the owner at all tiles. <br />-Please be.conscious of your responsibilities as a pet <br />owner. <br />No Parkinf - Parking is not allowed on City Streets between <br />the hours of 3:00 a... and 7:00 a.l. <br /> <br />RIVIRS AMD LAIKS CLKAI UP - June 8, 1991 has been designated as <br />Rivers and Lakes Clean Up Day. The Peltier Lake Association and <br />the Centerville Lake Association have volunteered to assist in <br />this clean up project. Their volunteerisl reflects their <br />consciousness of our fragile environlent.
