VanBurkleo to investigate resident concerns regarding the operation of snowlobiles in Centerville. The COllittee addressed a Snowlobile Ordinance, which was adopted by the City Council on April 24, 1991. The CO'littee continues to research possible alternative snowlobile routes throughout the City. Thank you. GalblinR - The City Council adopted an Ordinance which regulates Galbling operations within the City of Centerville. The ordinance requires that 50% of the net profits of pull tab operations within the City, be spent within the City of Centerville. ORDIHAHCK RKSTRICTIOMS - Landscaping on new lots - Within one year of issuance of the Occupancy Permit, the lot shall be landscaped in such a lanner which prevents erosion due to wind or vater. ~ - It is unlawful for any person under the age of 18 to be on any public street, avenue or alley, or present in any park or other public place in the City of Centerville between the hours of 9:30 p.l. and 5:00 a.I., unless accolpanied by his or her parent, guardian, or other person having legal custody. ~- Ho permit is required to put a fence within a Residential District, however, the fence lust be within the property boundaries (not within the street right- of-way/boulevard). Ho fence, wall or hedge along the sides or front edge of any front yard shall be lore than four feet in height. BuildinR Perl its - Perlits are required for decks, garages, storage shed (over 120 sq. ft.), additions and interior relodeling or finishing. Perlits are available at City Hall. The violation for not obtaining a permit prior to construction is a double perlit fee, per 1985 Minnesota State Building Code. Other Perlits - Perlits are also required for plulbing, heating, and air conditioning additions or alterations. House RUlber8 - All buildings are required to display building numbers at least 4 inches in height, in contrasting color to the base, and so placed to be easily seen frot the street. One of the purposes of the ordinance is to facilitate quick arrival of elergency vehicles to you and your neighbors. ~ - Dog licenses are required by Ordinance #24.* The cost of the license is $10.00 and is in effect for the life of the dog. - If you have lore tban two dogs over six lontbs old, you are required to obtain a kennel license. -City Ordinance requires that all dogs be restrained by the owner at all tiles. -Please be.conscious of your responsibilities as a pet owner.
