Tbis represents a <br />8.11 increase in the City portion of your taxes. Our office <br />has recently been advised by the Anoka County Auditor's <br />Office that the State of Minnesota is seriously looking at <br />State cuts in 1991 loneys. If this does happen, it is <br />possible that the cities would in~rease their levies to <br />adjust. The result could be an increase the 1991 tax levy <br />and percentage of the City portion of your taxes. <br /> <br />CIRTIRVILLI HIIGHTS DIVILOPIIRT - The project was approved for <br />developtent in 1981. Of the original 88 lots platted on the <br />developlent, 69 lots have been filled. It is expected that <br />the developlent will be nearing co.pletion by Fall 1991. <br /> <br />L'ALLIIR ISTATIS DIVILOPIIRT - The project was approved for <br />develop.ent in 1987. Of the original 34 lots platted on the <br />develop.ent 28 have been filled. The developer is proposing a 96 unit <br />town hOle developtent. The location of the project is <br />directly east of the Royal Meadows developaent, 1/4 aile <br />north of the Main Street and 28th Avenue intersection. <br /> <br />ANOIA COUNTY TRAVILIR - Local travel service for all persons is <br />available Honday, Mednesday, and Friday frot 7:00 a.l. to <br />1:00 p... and Saturday fro. 10:00 a.'. to 6:00 p.a. in Anoka <br />County. This is a shared ride door-to-door public service. <br />Take advantage of the Traveler for an occasional ride or <br />regularly scheduled trips. The cost for service is $1.00 <br />per trip. Discount fare cards are available. To facilitate <br />scheduling, you are requested to call 24 hours in advance. <br />To take advantage of this service or for tore inforlation <br />call the Traveler at 464-8883. <br /> <br />fLOOD PLAIR RIDOCTIOR- Centerville is currently working with the <br />Anoka County Highway Departaent to put together an agreelent <br />for autual participation in the construction' of the Flood <br />Plain iaprovelents. The construction is scheduled to begin <br />Spring 1991. <br /> <br />DIFOI/NATIRNORIS TONH BOIlS - Another proposed town hoae project <br />in the very prelilinary sketch plan stages is located south <br />of the Main Street and Peltier Lake Drive intersection. The <br />developer is proposing a 40 unit town hOle developtent. <br /> <br />CURBSIDI RICYCLIRG - Glass bottles, alu.inu., tin cans, plastic <br />and newspapers are iteas which should be recycled. <br />Recyclables are picked up weekly with the regularly <br />scheduled garbage pick up (Fridays). Call Lake Sanitation <br />at 429-1163 to sign up for curbside recycling and to obtain <br />infor.ation on how to prepare the recyclables for pick up. <br />All residents who are currently active in the curbside <br />recycling progral are cottended for their participation. <br />
