Mike lEirii°liescmiwi
From: Bednar,Tammy <tbednar@916schools.org>
Tuesday, May 16, 2017 5:43 AM
® Russell Koski; Steve King; D Love; Matthew Montain;Jeff Paar
Mike Ericson
Noise ordinance concern
Hello,
I'm contacting you regarding the city's noise ordinance as Alex's Lawn and Turf seems to not understand that they need
to comply with the ordinance. I've contacted Ben Ericsson regarding this issue on numerous occasions, I've called
Centennial Lakes Police on numerous occasions and yet we continue to hear their business working at all hours of the
night.
Today at 5:13am in the pouring rain I had to wake to the sounds of their company running their Bobcat back and forth in
their lot.Yesterday,5/15/17 it was at 4:30am.
The city has a noise ordinance for a reason and if residents were not following the ordinance,we would be held
accountable but for some reason this doesn't apply to Alex's Lawn and Turf?
I'm happy to continue to call Centennial Lakes Police and at some point I would hope they would receive a citation for
not following the ordinance but given I have been complaining about this since last fall(2016), 1 get the feeling this isn't
something you feel is relevant.
I will continue to call Police, email and do whatever is necessary to see that the noise ordinance is enforced. No business
should have ever been given a conditional use permit to run their business if they can't adhere to the noise ordinance
policies in place, especially when they back up to a residential neighborhood that was well established before they took
occupancy.
I would like somebody to please contact me regarding this issue. I can be reached via email or on my cell phone at 651-
269-7838.
Tammy Bednar
Assistant Manager, Karner Blue Education Center,John Glenn ALP&Valley Crossing ALP Northeast Metro 916
Intermediate School District tbednar@916schools.org Phone 651-415-6201 (voice)
Fax 651-415-6275 (fax)
www.916schools.org
Confidentiality Statement:This email and any attachments may be confidential or private data under state or federal
law.
