City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> August 22,2018 <br /> 1. July 25, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Mayor Paar provided an opportunity to members to amend the presented minutes. No <br /> members chose to make modifications. <br /> Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Koski to <br /> Approve the Submitted July 25, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes. All in favor. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 2. August 8, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Mayor Paar provided an opportunity to members to amend the presented minutes. <br /> Council Member Montain stated that he had concerns that a requester, if dissatisfied with <br /> Staffs opinion could appeal to Council. <br /> Motion by Council Montain, seconded by Council Member Love to Approve the <br /> Submitted August 8, 2018 City Council Meeting Minutes. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 1. City of Centerville August 10, 2018 through August 22, 2018 Claims (Check#32052- <br /> 32062) & (Check#32063-32082)W/Voided Check#32043 <br /> 2. Centennial Lakes Police Claims through August 16, 2018 (Check#12139-12171) <br /> W/EFT US Bank. <br /> 3. Set Truth in Taxation Hearing Date for November 28, 2018 <br /> 4. Special Event Permit Application—Block Party <br /> Mayor Paar provided Council with an opportunity to discuss any item(s). <br /> Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member King to Approve as <br /> Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. None. <br /> IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Electrical Inspections <br /> Administrator Statz stated that City has received notice that Mr. Brian Nelson, contracted <br /> Electrical Inspector will be retiring shortly (September 28, 2018). He stated that Mr. Peter Tokle <br /> has been recommended by Mr. Nelson and interviewed by staff He also stated that fees would <br /> Page 2 of 4 <br />
