City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> September 12,2018 <br /> Mayor Paar also reported that he received an email from previous Mayor John Robert Smith <br /> (Mississippi), Chairman of Transportation for American who desired to meet and speak about <br /> transportation as he is touring around the country. He would be meeting on September 18, 2018 <br /> at 8:30 a.m. <br /> Mayor Paar stated that the WaterMark development has commenced with grading beginning <br /> today on the southeast corner of the project. <br /> Mayor Paar stated that he has been attending the Quad Area Chamber meetings where <br /> discussions have taken place regarding Centerville businesses joining and an event has been <br /> scheduled for September 27, 2018 from 4:00 — 6:00 p.m. for local businesses at Kelly's Korner. <br /> He stated that this is a great way for businesses to learn about the Chamber. <br /> Mayor Paar reminded the audience about the October 6, 2018 Centerville Lion's 2nd Annual <br /> Chili-Cook Off and stated that additional information can be obtained from the Lions Facebook <br /> or via email at: lions g gmail.com. He also stated that local information may be obtained on the <br /> City's website or twitter. <br /> XIII. RECESSED TO WORK SESSION <br /> Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Koski to Recess to <br /> Council's Scheduled Work Session at 8:31 p.m. All in favor.
