CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its reguto <br /> meeting on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Chairperson Darrin Mosher <br /> Commissioner Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> Commissioner Mark Haiden <br /> Commissioner Kim Ganzel <br /> Commissioner Nick Twohy <br /> Commissioner Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> Commissioner Darrell (DJ) Olson, Jr. <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> STAFF: City Administrator/Engineer Mark Statz <br /> OTHERS PRESENT: City Council Liaison Russ Koski <br /> Planning Consultant—Eric Maass - WSB <br /> L CALL TO ORDER. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Mosher. <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Motion by Commissioner Broussard Vickers, seconded by Commissioner Haiden to <br /> Approve the Agenda with the above noted correction. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> IV. AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS, APPEARANCES <br /> 1. Oath of Office Planning Commission Member, Mr. Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> 2. Oath of Office Planning Commission Member, Mr. Darrell (DJ) Olson, Jr. <br /> Each candidate was sworn into office. <br /> V. PUBLIC HEARING/INPUT <br /> 1. Joe George, 1926—72nd Street - Driveway <br /> Mr. George appeared before the commission for an informal and non-binding review of his <br /> request to widen his driveway. He discussed his desire to widen his driveway along the <br /> side of his garage, however, the ordinances would not allow him to be within 5 feet of the <br /> side lot line, making it the area he wished to expand too narrow for the storage of his boat. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding why the ordinances do not allow paving within 5 feet of the <br /> Pagel of 3 <br />
