MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br /> Education and Experience <br /> • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; <br /> • One (1)year of experience in an office position; <br /> • Ability to type 35 wpm and operate general office equipment with a minimum of training, <br /> and has basic computer and software knowledge. <br /> NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: <br /> • Ability to establish and maintain effective, respectful and professional working relationships <br /> with supervisors, elected officials, co-workers, subordinates, candidates and the general <br /> public, some of whom may be hostile. <br /> • Ability to operate standard word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other software <br /> packages to organize reports and analyze and solve problems. <br /> • Ability to arrive to work on time. <br /> TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: <br /> Requires frequent use of a personal computer(including word processing and spreadsheet <br /> software); telephone; and copy machine. <br /> PHYSICAL DEMANDS: <br /> The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to <br /> successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
