City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> September 26,2018 <br /> Line Lateral Charge $6,500) <br /> Administrator Statz stated that Mr. Guggenberger has requested that Council consider granting a <br /> Special Assessment for the outstanding Water Line Lateral Charge of $6,500 for his property. <br /> He stated that City Code allows for this practice and City Clerk Bender has drafted a Special <br /> Assessment Agreement Waiver of Hearing and Appeal for Mr. & Mrs. Guggenberger and their <br /> request for $6,500 (Water Lateral Charge) to be placed on their property taxes for a period of 10 <br /> years at 5% interest. <br /> Council Member Love questioned whether Mr. Guggenberger understood the terms of the <br /> agreement. Mr. Guggenberger was present and he stated that he understood the terms. <br /> Administrator Statz provided Mr. Guggenberger with the agreement. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the ability of Mr. Guggenberger to request additional expenditures <br /> to be assessed to his property if his existing well failed. Attorney Glaser stated that he would <br /> again have to enter into an agreement with the City to do so. <br /> Discussion also ensued whether action could be taken on this item at this time so Mr. <br /> Guggenberger would not have to stay for the meeting until the item was later on the Agenda. <br /> City Attorney Glaser stated that Council could suspend the agenda to consider this item. <br /> Motion by Council Member Montain, seconded by Council Member Love to Suspend the <br /> Agenda and Consider Taking Action on Item #1, under IX. New Business and Approve <br /> Mr. Guggenberger's Reguest Upon Receipt of a Signed Agreement Prior to November 15, <br /> 2018. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> V. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 1.
