CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> March 21, 2018 <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville's Parks and Recreation <br /> Committee held a meeting on March 21, 2018 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. This meeting was <br /> originally scheduled for March 7, 2018, but was rescheduled to ensure a forum. <br /> PRESENT: Chris Bettinger, Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Suzanne Seeley, Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Brian Peterson, Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Kevin Waeghe, Chair - Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> A 1) 1) r ov e <br /> ABSENT: Kevin Amundsen, Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Heidi Grahek, Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> Matt Montain, City Council Liason to P&R Committee <br /> STAFF: City Administrator/Engineer Mark Statz <br /> COUNCIL MEETING <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Waeghe called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and took roll call. Results of roll call <br /> are shown above. <br /> II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Added item 5, in New Business —ADA Portable Restrooms in Parks <br /> Added item 6, in New Business —Spring Clean-up <br /> Motion by Committee Member Wae2he, seconded by Committee Member Seeley to <br /> approve the Agenda as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br /> 1. Park and Recreation Committee Vacancy <br /> Administrator Statz shared with the committee that the city is in receipt of two (2) applications <br /> for the one open seat on the committee. The committee has, historically, asked candidates to <br /> attend a meeting to get a sense of what the committee does and what will be expected of them. <br /> Instruction from the committee was to invite the two candidates to the next meeting. <br />
