City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> March 21,2018 <br /> connections in the community to help with Fete des Lacs events. Specifically, Administrator <br /> Statz is looking for volunteers for the Paddle des Lacs and Sunday portion of Kids Fest. <br /> No Action <br /> 3. Review of 2040 Draft Comprehensive Plan—Parks and Trails Chapter <br /> No Action—Item tabled until next meeting <br /> 4. Discussion of Music in the Park <br /> Administrator Statz updated the committee, stating that Tom Lee has again volunteered to run <br /> the program. He has already booked the entire season, with the exception of Fete des Lacs week. <br /> No Action <br /> 5. Portable Restrooms in Parks <br /> Administrator Statz presented quotes for portable restrooms in the parks. The committee <br /> supported again having portable restrooms in the city's 5 active-use parks (LaMotte, McBride, <br /> Acorn Creek, Eagle, and Royal Meadows). <br /> Motion by Committee Member Bettinger, seconded by Committee Member Waeghe to <br /> recommend award of contract to AirFresh, the low quote vendor, as presented. All in <br /> favor. Motion carried. <br /> 6. Spring Clean-up Day <br /> Committee Member Peterson updated the committee on spring clean-up day, planned for April <br /> 21 st <br /> No Action <br /> VII. UPDATES <br /> 1. Sledding/Skating Party & Hayride, February 10, 2018 Wrap-up <br /> A brief update on the event was given. The committee wished to note that next year, the dates <br /> may need to be more closely examined to not line up with competing events. <br /> 2.
