City of Centerville <br /> Parks&Recreation Committee <br /> May 2,2018 <br /> ✓ Past Coordinator Kerri Kolstad has 16 total of single and double <br /> kayaks at a reasonable rate <br /> ✓ Corner Express has 4 kayaks and 4 paddleboards at a cost of$25 <br /> per 3 hours for kayaks and $30 per 3 hours. <br /> ✓ The U of M has kayaks, canoes and paddleboards for $25 per item <br /> per night. <br /> • Cost to participants: THIS IS A FREE EVENT <br /> • Expenses: Mr. Branch requested the P & R Committee to allocate <br /> $300 from the Running events to the Paddle events to cover <br /> several expenses. <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Peterson, seconded by Committee <br /> Member Seeley to allocate $300 from the Running Events to the Paddle <br /> events to cover costs of, but not limited to Racewire software, flyers & <br /> posters and for snacks and water for participants and volunteers. All in <br /> favor. Motion carried. <br /> C. Centervillympics —No Discussion & Probably No Involvement from P <br /> & R <br /> 5. Council Update—Council Member Matt Montain <br /> • Mr. Montain informed the Committee Members that the ADA compliant <br /> restroom was to be located in Cornerstone Park. (See IV. Unfinished Committee <br /> Business, 94. <br /> • It is the hope of the city to be paperless by the end of the year and use only <br /> electronic communication for most other communiques. <br /> • Schedules for the 2018 summer ball leagues were included with the May Meeting <br /> Packet. <br /> VIII.
